Ozzy Osbourne just announced some news that his fans did not expect.
As he wrote on Instagram, four years ago, he suffered from an injury that has required quite a few medical treatments. To try to fix the damage to his spine, he has had “three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy sessions, and most recently groundbreaking Cybernics (HAL) Treatment.”
However, there is sad news for fans.Osbourne is now telling his fans that all of those surgeries and treatments are not enough for him to be able to go on tour again. He told his “loyal fans” who have “all patiently held onto your tickets for all this time” that refunds are now available because he will not be doing the long awaited and long postponed European/UK tour.
According to Osbourne, he is officially making the tough decision not to go on tour again because his “body is still physically weak” and “I know I couldn’t deal with the travel required.”
Just because Osbourne is canceling the tour, that doesn’t mean he will never perform again. Osbourne explained that when he was undergoing treatments, he did it all with the goal of being able to perform on stage. It sounds like he plans to perform as soon as his team works out the logistics. He explained, “My singing voice is fine.” He added, “My team is currently coming up with ideas for where I will be able to perform without having to travel from city to city and country to country.”
He ended his message by thanking his family, friends and fans “for their endless dedication, loyalty, and support, and for giving me the life that I never ever dreamed I would have.”
